A meditation on Death.

!WARNING! This post is only worth reading if you have a couple of minutes to meditate on death

Having moved past the warning, I expect you will be ready to meditate, so without further ado, at the end of this sentence fix your eyes on the abortion counter to the right of the screen, and hold them there watching intently for 2 minutes.

Mine got to 140.

Do you want to do something to help stop this?

Stuck for ideas?

This Autumn 40 Days For Life will be in the UK in London and Birmingham, in what will hopefully be Britain's biggest and most successful pro-life campaign ever. But without your help it will fail.

From September 28 - November 6 these two cities will be joining together with 297 others worldwide for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:
  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of community outreach
With God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in England.

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the abortion facility.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining your local (ish) vigil at:

Calthorpe Abortion Clinic
4, Arthur Road

B15 2UL

BPAS Clinic
26-27 Bedford Square,

Over a thousand volunteers are needed in order to make this campaign a success. If you were shocked/disturbed/moved by your meditation then please click this link in order to find out what you can do to help.

PS. if you think you live too far away to help then consider that during the first 40 days for life campaign in London people went from Manchester and Birmingham solely to give up their time. And nobody lives too far away for prayer and fasting!!!
